I’m not a fan of boxes.

I’m not a fan of playing it small so others would feel big. I’m not a fan of putting labels on people and treating them based on those labels.

They said I shouldn’t wear this because I’m putting myself at risk of being catcalled or harassed. They said I’m not supposed to be too outspoken.

‘They’ said this and ‘I’ said that.

But when it comes to my happiness, do ‘they’ have a say on that? No. Because they don’t have a clue. And it’s not my job to do as ‘they’ please.

It’s my job to be a loving presence in this world the way I see fit. It is my job to go where my heart nudges me to go.

Be a rebel and an angel. Be who you want to be but make sure that you like the person that you see in the mirror.

Sing, teach, laugh, and dance. Cry your heart out. Express yourself in whatever way you want to. Be as free as a bird. Climb the tallest mountain or be a beach bum. Live as you please.

And if you can, please share some love to the people around you. Everybody needs that.
